Breakthrough increases academic opportunities for motivated, underserved middle school students and develops the next generation of educators. Their summer teaching fellow experience is designed for undergraduates of all majors with a deep interest in social justice and a passion for working with low-income students.
Over 8 weeks, teaching fellows receive over 100 hours of teaching and leadership training and experience. These paid fellowships are available across the nation and DACA/TPS status is not required.

UCLA – Dream Summer Fellowship
Text: Dream Summer partners with organizations across the country, placing undocumented and DACamented students and alumni with those organizations. Participants are placed in a social justice organization to incorporate and/or strengthen immigrant rights issues. Dream Summer fellows receive a $5,000 fellowship award, leadership and professional development training, and join a national network of over 650 immigrant rights leaders. Fellowships exist across the country in Summer 2020 and DACA or TPS is not required.
